Eu estou muito feliz porque as partes estão se encaixando muito bem. Mesmo fazendo o seu melhor desenhando no papel milimetrado muitas vezes até ficar satisfeito naquela hora, o momento da verdade é quando você coloca as projeções 2D no programa 3D e tenta juntar toda a informação antes segmentada em um carro.
I can say more, as the first 2D rendering of Pulse 2 done in January/2011 was a huge advance over the first car designed in 2005; it’s fitted with the mono-arm suspensions; this 3d model is also much better than the initial ideas designed on the 2D in Paquetá Island here in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.
Eu posso dizer mais, como o primeiro rendering 2D do Pulse 2 feito em Janeiro/2011 foi um imenso avanço sobre o carro desenhado em 2005; as suspensões mono-braço foram adicionadas; este modelo 3D é também muito melhor que as ideias inicialmente desenhadas nem 2D na Ilha de Paquetá aqui no Rio de Janeiro – Brasil.
The 3D model have several new features: reduced cross sections in several parts of the car, specially on the noses; several new slots to guide the air flow much better around the car, new profiles at the structures ahead the radiator with double function in addition to structural: more air at low speeds go inside the pod to get the heat of the engine… At higher ones, it deflects it around the pod to increase top speed; new wheel box air extractors and deflectors; lighter, simple and capable of house double DRS…
O modelo 3D tem diversas novas características: seção transversal reduzida em várias partes do carro, especialmente nos narizes; diversos novos rasgos para guiar o fluxo de ar muito melhor ao redor do carro; novos perfis nas estruturas a frente dos radiadores com dupla função além da estrutural: mais fluxo de ar em baixas velocidades entram no bocal para retirar o calor do motor... A velocidades maiores, ele desvia o ar ao redor do bocal para aumentar a velocidade final; novos extratores e defletores de ar nas caixas de rodas, mais leves, simples e capazes de abrigar duplo DRS...
I don’t know if people here know but as most of recent graduated Designers, I don’t have any support to do anything… Forget the multi-million dollars high-end facilities with the best in technologies, space, resources… But these physical limitations can’t prevent you of dream about it! Design it in your mind! “Saw” the movable parts, the air flows around the body at high velocities… Some things, the best ones, nobody can take of you! When you have to do something, and no matter the obstacles you will have the means to do it one way or another!
Eu não sei se as pessoas sabem mas como a maioria dos Designers recém formados, eu não tenho qualquer tipo de ajuda para fazer o que quer que seja... Esqueçam as milionárias instalações super modernas com o melhor em tecnologia, espaço e recursos... Mas essas limitações físicas não podem impedir você de sonhar a respeito! Projetar mentalmente! “Ver” as partes móveis, as correntes de ar ao redor do carro em altas velocidades... Algumas coisas, as melhores, ninguém pode tirar de você! Quando você tem que fazer alguma coisa, não importam os obstáculos você vai ter os meios de fazê-lo de um jeito ou de outro!
Getting back to Pulse 2; forgive the outflow; since you reach a certain point in the design process, you need to put all together in a scale clay model… Since I simple can’t even think about it… And Pulse 2 is a very complex piece of automotive design… With a body that have several movable parts with multiple apertures, slots and so on to cut better the air with super maneuverability at high speeds;, what I could do? Make it with computer graphics! It’s the real deal!
Voltando ao Pulse 2; me perdoem o desabafo; na medida que você atinge um certo ponto no processo de design, você precisa colocar tudo junto em um modelo em escala de argila... Desde que eu simplesmente não posso nem sonhar com isso... E o Pulse 2 é uma peça muito complexa de design automotivo... Com um corpo com várias partes móveis com múltiplas aberturas, rasgos e tudo o mais para cortar melhor o ar com super manobrabilidade a altas velocidades; o que eu poderia fazer? Fazê-lo com computação gráfica! Esse é o negócio!

Os primeiros resultados você viu no Teaser 3D 01 mostrando a roda e o pneu traseiro... Eu também já postei sobre o volante e sobre o display que vai destacado em seu centro...
Now I post the first glances of the all new car compared with Pulse 1 behind the new car under covered. If Pulse 1 even today, 7 years after don’t have a match, Pulse 2 is even better… But I can’t show it once for all… So I will do it with ‘some’ thriller; hoping that some great car maker with no fear of the innovation, of the future, of the new ideas can at least think about do some preliminary engineering developments and who knows… Do it for real! I’m daydreaming? Always!
Agora eu posto as primeiras nuances do novo carro comparado com o Pulse 1 atrás do novo carro encoberto. Se o Pulse 1 mesmo hoje, 7 anos depois não tem concorrente, Pulse 2 é ainda melhor... Mas eu não posso mostrar tudo de uma vez... Então eu vou fazer ‘algum’ suspense; esperando que alguma grande montadora sem medo de inovações, do futuro, de novas ideias possa ao menos pensar em fazer alguns estudos preliminares de engenharia e quem sabe... Faze-lo de verdade! Eu estou sonhando acordado? Sempre!

I’m very happy because the parts are coming together very nice. Even doing your best drawing over the grid on paper several times until get satisfied at that time, the moment of ‘truth’ is when you put the 2d projections on the 3D software and try to join all that segmented information before in one car.
